This 16-hour course provides individuals a foundation of first aid knowledge and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate access to EMS response. This includes wilderness and remote environments and urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. The certificate issued (Wilderness and Remote First Aid) is valid for 2 years. This training is designed for individuals who are at least 14 years of age and hold a current certificate in Adult CPR/AED.
