Babysitter Training Certification

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training program is designed to prepare youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response. This program offers Babysitter’s Training in the classroom.

This course adds the element of First aid, CPR and AED to individuals skill-sets. It is recommended that individuals be above 90lbs in weight for CPR compression practice. This course might be more suitable for individuals on the older scale of 11- 16 years of age.
